|Robert G. “Bob” Robinson, 62, of Scranton died Monday at his home following an illness.Born Sept. 21, 1954 in Danville, Ill., he was the son of Herman Robinson, and the late Carol J. (Clouser) Robinson. He was a graduate of North Pocono High School, and was a veteran of the Navy. Prior to his illness, he was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Bob loved sharing stories from his past and was always quick with a joke and he truly had a knack for making people laugh. He was a lifelong angler and was happiest when he was at the lake fishing with his family. Bob was a genuinely good and decent man and would do anything for anyone. He was deeply loved by his friends and family and will be missed.
Surviving are his wife; Debra Robinson and his daughters: Jennifer L. Robinson of Dunmore, Pa., and Katherine A. Robinson of Bethlehem, Pa.; his brother William E. Robinson of Roaring Brook Twp. Pa.; his sister Virginia Caldwell of Deltona, FL; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother in 2016, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Robinson; and his nephew, Indiana Robinson in 2012.
