|Marion (Wollaber) Waddon, 92, of Bethlehem PA died peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at home.
She was born to the late Elizabeth (Claffy) and Earl Wollaber on Nov 6 1925 in Westernville NY and was preceded in death by her two brothers, Carl Wollaber and John Paddock.
Marion was a graduate of Academy of the Holy Names in Rome NY and Packard Junior College in NYC, NY. She was employed by New York and Pennsylvania Company in NYC as a secretary after graduation and later (after spending many years as a stay-at-home mom) at Brown’s Letters Inc where she did office work reporting construction bid offers in newsletters.
For many years, Marion was an involved member of the Rutherford Womens Club which did charitable work for the community.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marion is survived by her beloved husband of 65 ½ years, Donald Waddon and their children: Barbara (Waddon) Pelak, John Waddon and his wife, Lisa (Duffany) Waddon; 4 grandchildren: David Pelak and his wife Carly Bruski, Mary (Pelak) Noon, Kyle Waddon and Jake Waddon; 1 great-granddaughter, Madeline Marion Noon; 3 nieces, 3 nephews and many friends.
Marion will always be remembered for her selfless nature, her unwavering devotion to her Catholic faith, her sense of fun, her ability to handle challenges with great strength and grace, her deep love of family and friends, and pride in her Irish heritage.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home in Moscow PA with a viewing on Dec 14th followed by a funeral Mass at The Church of St Catherine of Siena, Moscow PA with interment in St Catherine’s Cemetary, Moscow PA.
