|Florence Naumann, 88, of Scranton, died Monday morning in Mountain View Care Center in Scranton, following a brief illness. She is the widow of Henry W. Naumann, who died May 1, 2002. The couple were married 51 years.
Born Dec. 17, 1927, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Ross) McLaughlin. She was educated in Scranton schools and was a member of the United Baptist Church of Taylor. She was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church in Scranton.
Surviving are her son, William Naumann and wife, Virginia, of Gilbert, Ariz.; her daughters, Gayle Merritt and husband, Thomas, of Mt. Bethel; and Susan Menichiello, of Scranton, and her fiancé, Thomas Mancuso, of Blairstown, N.J.; four grandchildren, Jill Nixon, Kimberly Kelley, Ashley Sessions and Tyler Menichiello; and five great-grandchildren, Merritt and Everly Kelley and Amelia, Sofia and Eadlin Nixon; and nieces and nephews.
Florence was also preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held:
Interment will be held at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
